Cookies with Pine Nuts (Martha Stewart # 23)

I often used to use the gears Pine in savory recipes, so I enjoyed these cookies for their new side.
A little too sweet for my taste , and this probably due to the use of marzipan in the device. However it plays an important role in their final texture not unlike that of a macaroon.
